1/1/06 - A short version of "RockHounds: The Movie is playing as a part of the "OK Rocks!" Exhibit at the Sam Noble Museum of Natural History in Norman, OK!  If you are in the area check it out and all the other exhibits at this great museum.  More details and pictures coming soon!

9/3/05 - "RockHounds: The Movie has been accepted into another film festival!  We are an official selection of the Roshd International Film Festival!  More details coming soon!

7/25/05 - "RockHounds: The Movie" has been accepted into its first film festival!  We are an official selection at "SCINEMA '05 - Festival of Science Film" in Australia.  Check out our Screening Schedule for details.

4/11/05 - We have a new streaming video online.  It is "The Making of RockHounds: The Movie" and you can view it HERE!

4/7/05 - The filmmakers would like to invite you to join them for a screening of "RockHounds: The Movie" on April 21st at the University of Oklahoma in Norman, OK!  The screening will be at Sarkey's Energy Center, Room A235 at 5:00 PM.  If you can't make it then check out our Screening Schedule to find the next screening nearest you!

3/17/05 - In addition to the regular gem and mineral events that will be screening "RockHounds: The Movie" (as seen in our "Schedule" section of the website), the film will now be touring with the Rock Food Table at many of their various appearances.  The Rock Food Table appears in the film so stop by at a show and say "Hi" to Lois & Bill and catch the documentary as it plays.

3/10/05 - The film is done!!  We are now looking for Gem & Mineral Shows that are interested in screening it.  If you are involved in a show and would like to know more please Contact Us.

2/17/04 - New Pictures added of our Barite Rose Rock Shoot and of our Shoot at the University of Oklahoma!

2/16/04 - Production on "RockHounds: The Movie" has officially wrapped!  We recently shot a segment on digging for barite rose rocks in Oklahoma as well as some scientific segments at the University of Oklahoma's geology department.  Also, the streaming video preview for the documentary is now online (see above)!  Take a look and let us know what you think.

12/17/04 - Check out the March '05 issue of Rock & Gem Magazine (which hits newsstands in early February). There will be a mention of "RockHounds: The Movie" in their "Picks & Pans" section.

11/21/04 - We just got back from shooting a a segment on Fossil Hunting with "Dinosaur George"!  Special thanks to George Blasing, his staff, the people at the Heritage Museum of the Texas Hill Country and all the fossil hunters who came out and braved the rain (and it was plenty rainy!).  We've posted pictures of the shoot in the Pictures section of the website.

11/14/04 - New pictures have been added to the site of some of our shoots.  We'll add more soon.
